PROJECT MANAGER
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Project Manager at arc, you will be responsible for management of construction projects from concept through completion and closeout. In this role you will plan, direct, and coordinate activites and systems thereby providing overall administrative and strategic direction for construction projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain a project budget and track for adherence
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
- Complete monthly billings for each project
- Handle, review and approve all submittals
- Complete the buy-out process and purchase materials for projects
- Complete the buy-out process and purchase materials for projects
- Hands on work as required by the project
QUALIFICATIONS
- Five years industry experience managing construction projects of increasing complexity
- A bachelor's degree or higher in business, construction management, or engineering
- Understanding of project documents, work plans, addenda, and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, communication, collaboration, and building teamwork
